Guest Arramond Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 i've done it with my vodafone i900 and it works great but I used the DXHH3 update.
Guest indyjones Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 i've done it with my vodafone i900 and it works great but I used the DXHH3 update. I take it this removes the branding? I am worried if you do so you will lose the warranty from vodafone ;)

Guest Markieman234 Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 how did you get to the prefig menu? the *#1546792*# doesnt work with the i900v thanks You don't need to do any preconfig work to flash the i900v.. just load up the EXE after a hard reset and battery charge and flash away ;)
Guest Markieman234 Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 I take it this removes the branding? I am worried if you do so you will lose the warranty from vodafone  You will lost your warranty.. however as you can see here http://forums.vodafone.co.uk Vodafone are working on an updated Omnia firmware that should be out sooner rather than later.. so if your phone clogs up for whatever reason just flash with the new firmware when it comes out.. ;)
Guest jjwoo_uk Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Hey all I've been waiting all week for my Vodafone Omnia to arrive. With baited breath I've been looking at all the ROM versions for a flash upgrade, their respective problems/improvements etc. As I haven't received the handset yet there are things I wouldn't yet fathom, like why there's a PDA & Phone section etc. Currently it seems as if HH3 is a wonderful upgrade but HI1 appears to make an impact too. I'm struggling over which version to flash, HI2 seems available too but I'm not sure how much improvement there is. Can anyone provide a benchmark comparison across these 3 version if they have done so? It seems Vodafone V firmware has no impact on the flash tests other users have done. I suppose the very first step would be to backup with PIM first, then choose a nice ROM version before thinking about FTouch SPB Shell etc. Any further advice?
