Guest sfleuriet Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 Just curious as to who all is having issues with lag while typing text messages on their BJII.. Personally, I experienced it pretty bad in 6.0, and it now seems even WORSE in 6.1 using threaded text messaging. It's pretty annoying for me to constantly be typing 5-10 characters ahead of what's being displayed on the screen.. and also constantly having to backspace, replace characters, and insert spaces.

Actually, I found this to be much improved in 6.1. I can barely feel it, much speedier typing than under 6.0.
Guest scaleyphish Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 There's a little lag, but definitely not as bad as it was in 6.0.
Guest sfleuriet Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 its probably that stupid character counter causing it... I wish I could disable it and see.
Guest Its Ez Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 Its the same for me as I had with 6.0. I'm thinking about trying to overclock it just a little bit and see if that makes a difference.
Guest dtphantom Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 I see a little but not nearly as bad as with 6.0
Guest zammykoo Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 its probably that stupid character counter causing it... I wish I could disable it and see. I believe it's that character counter as well... at least how 6.1 manages it in threaded sms. I disabled my threaded sms and the keyboard lag went away! find it here: http://www.modaco.com/content/windows-mobi...-1/#entry912118
