Guest whitfa Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 Hi, I find that I have to remove my battery almost every 1 or 2 days as I tend to get a blank screen for some reason. The phone seems to be working in the background as I have had a call, but I have to reinsert the battery in order to wake the phone back up again <_< Faulty unit, or just an upgrade (from DXHG3) needed? Anyone experiencing this, or rectified it? thanks
Guest CoolHotCold Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Never had it stop responding, never taken the back off it either... You tried hitting the reset button at the top?
Guest tommy1971 Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 I had the same problem when using the G4 and G8 ROM, seems G9 have the same problem as it was widely discussed in KingMobile. The problem has been resolved (for me) after upgraded to HH1
Guest Clos Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 The same thing happened to me yesterday. This was the first time I've had the problem after 3 weeks of use. I'm on HG5.
Guest bobsbbq Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 There are some know issues with some programs and using WiFi. Example is Throttlelauncher. If you activate WiFi in Throttlelauncher comm panel and the device goes to sleep it will not come back on and will require a soft reset or removal of the battery. Don't know if this could be related or not but just be aware of potential problems when using wiFi and unit going to sleep.
Guest whitfa Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 I think I'll try the upgrade then and see how I get on. Thanks
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 This is a known problem with early ROMs. P
Guest chamby Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 This is a known problem with early ROMs. P its just happened to me with HH1 but i think the circumstances were different my battery died on my drive home and i pluged it in to charge (approx 2mins after it died) but it would not charge at all i removed the battery then put it back in and it started charging straight away
