There is still no arabic rom for the Omnia, I have the I900JPHI1 which is the latest and it doesn't read or write arabic. But check out www.ce4arab.com they have a solution there!

I have contacted Samsung here in Dubai, and they said they will launch the official arabic release of their Omnia very soon, maybe today!! If you are in Dubai try and give them a call, they should help you. I am trying to press on them to get the rom image, if I could, I will upload it immeidately and post it.
