Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 So who's excited about Android then, and why? ;) Second question, should MoDaCo spin off an android community? P
Guest acbanks Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 So who's excited about Android then, and why? ;) Second question, should MoDaCo spin off an android community? P Yes...and Yes...
Guest tsutton Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 Yes and Yes. Like I mentioned before, it should be a good addition to the MH website. ;)
Guest Dr Who Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 Will I be able to install Android on one of my Vario II's? I am assuming someone will make sure that I can? If so I would definitely like to see a Android forum. Might even put it in my C550 if possible.
Guest andrewkeith5 Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 If i'm honest I'm a tad sceptical about the potential success of android at the moment, though i'm fully prepared to stand surprised I do think a spin-off of modaco for android would be great, and I think would be a great help in making android a success story
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 Interested to know if it IS gonna hit T-Mo UK soon... Without Exchange support it's not for me... P
Guest WearTheFoxHat Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 Yes ... have an android arm. Either within Modaco ... so have: Windows Mobile Professional (PDA Touchscreen phones Phones) Windows Mobile Standard (Smartphones) Android Perhaps could then integrate other Mobile OS's too at a later stage. OR ... have it totally apart from modaco, but linked in like EEEASY! I dont know what to expect from Android ... BUT if Chrome is anything to go by, then theyre going to have one fantastic phone OS.
Guest tsutton Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 I think it would be good if we have a small team to create a MoDaCo branded Android.
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 Would need an Android device first though ;) But a gadgets a gadget after all so I'm in depending on price.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 Hmmm, doesn't sound quite right  Any ideas what the font used in the android logo is? ;) P
Guest e-v@n Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 I don't think that it is any publicly available font ;)
