Guest ichbeisse Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 I have a Blackjack II that uses CellularOne. I unlocked the GPRS feature, but I don't have a data plan, so I can't use google maps. Is there a downloadable GPS software that I can use offline?
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 There are quite a few diffrent GPS applications you can use, it depends on what you would like to do with the GPS. The main navigation applications like CoPilot, TomTom and Garmin are commercial products are not free, but there are some interesting free applications to try to begin with. Most people end up buying the commercial applications for navigation as they have better support and mapping. Most GPS applications do not need to be connected to the internet unless you choose to use an add on to the product like weather, traffic or speed camera reports..
