Which version of QuickMark works on Omnia

Our device isn't listed on their page yet ;) I was wondering if another version works cos I've tried the HTC Touch and TyTnII versions and neither seem to run.

EDIT: Also tried the HTC Hermes version which runs but says 'failed to init camera' then closes. I have emailed QuickMark so will update here if I get any news

EDIT Again: The Sprint PPC-6900 version loads up and the camera starts but it seems to fail to lock onto the code. It also throws windows errors fairly often

I have had a reply from QuickMark:

"We do not have a definite release schedule for the Samsung Omnia at this time.

However, it is possible that the Samsung i780 version of our software will run on

your devce. Please give it a try and let us know about your user experience.

If the device manufacturer has implemented the necessary Microsoft's media

framework properly, the i780 version should at least be able to run."

I'm testing this now.

EDIT: I have tested it and also run a test app they asked me to try. The i780 version does work but the orientation of the camera is incorrect and the viewfinder is a bit small. I've sent this feedback to them so, again, i'll keep updating this thread

Hey all, just to let you know that after I and some other users did some intensive testing, Quickmark now have an Omnia version which works perfectly

How do you get the macro mode turned on? Even after installing the so called plugin (how can I see whether QM is using this "plugin"?) it can't read any barcode (blurred picture)...

Same here VErizon i910 with latest official firmware. Just get a blury image.

Press and hold AF icon in bottom right corner of the screen for focus.

Does the 1D decode work on yours? On my Omnia (the trial) it just closes automatically when I select 1D. I just want to make sure it'll work before I buy :D The 2D decoding works great!

Same here, it just shuts down.

This new version is a lot better and works quicker, but to me 1D codes are the most useful. Even after all these years I've not seen any QR codes anywhere.

The latest version (build 4706) doesn't work - trying to switch to 1d barcodes makes it crash... :D

Can anybody please post a version which works (together with the autofocus plugin)? It's really annoying - I paid to get the advanced version and now I can't use it anymore cause I haven't saved the installation file of the previous version (which worked perfectly)... :D
