Guest Bad-Co Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 (edited) I'm now running Slide to Unlock 1.22, which has some different but nice features and works well with the Omnia. Info and download here I've then had a read up on changing some of the icons and general look of S2U2 from this thread I've changed the battery charging icon which is included in this post. I've removed the slide to unlock lettering and the slider by renaming a slide, slideanis and sliden in the gfx folder Credit goes to AC for S2U2 and to Mushipkw on XDA forums for the thread on "How to" ** S2U2 is freeware and can not be sold on..... Guest Bad-Co Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 Is it now able to display the battery even when not charging? Yes, its part of 1.22...
Guest Deroo Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 I'm also running this right now. It's an amazing function to have on my omnia.
Guest Bad-Co Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 I've added an extra battery icon made by Bob_55 (attached) I've also renamed topbar.png in gfx to get rid of top and bottom curtains ( the faded grey section)

Many thanks
Guest fursie Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 Yeh works really well. Can anyone tell me how to get the touch volume control aspect of it to work though?
Guest Bad-Co Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 (edited) Is it easy enough to add the cable picture onto the existing? Many thanks The battery icon is made of 3 parts... the base, the cap and the body... The first post contains the body, the USB cable part is the base. If you unsure, go into the gfx folder and rename the battery1.png to battery12.png and add the attachment from above. You need to restart ilock each time you make a change. I've added both as a zip so they are correctly named and can be dropped straight into the gfx folderbattery.zip Edited September 15, 2008 by Bad-Co

I've installed S2U2 - but is there a way to use call it when I hold the END button - it uses the hormal lock when I do so...

I've set my main menu button to this... Start>settings>buttons> assign button to S2U2. Then go Start>settings>End Key> Change this to disconnect data calls.

Hi , Can u help to check if the appointment did show up on this version of s2u2 main screen"? It seem that it will show double entires ...
Guest superpc Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 is there any way for s2u2 to start after suspending using psshutxp or wktask? it only works if i put the phone to sleep by pressing power button(which i don't like to press so much since i've broken my xda II button ;))
Guest Quist09 Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 When I use this, the first email notification I get after a softreset gives me sound and vibration, but after that I get nothing. I have to activate and look at the screen to see if a message has come in. Really need this, as I get important, time-critical emails all day long and S2U2 is so much better than the regular lock function.
Guest Bad-Co Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 modified system gfx now...system.rar
Guest Bad-Co Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 a couple of simple wallpapers, only for portrait mode...
Guest mtglo Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 Bad Co - or anyone else that might know, I'm unable to get my Omnia to animate the S2U2 battery while charging. It only displays a static graphic of the battery.png file when I plug in to charge. Do I need to add a script? (tried but still no luck). I copy the battery png files to the S2U2 GFX folder - stop ilock/start etc., I've tried quite a few different battery files from here and XDA...still nothing. Just shows the image - no charging animation. I've seen Omnia's on YouTube showing the animated battery charging in action so I know it can be done....just can't figure it out. Would definitely appreciate any help! Thanks
Guest Bad-Co Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 (edited) Are you using the latest version 1.50d ?? Mine works fine, it might be worth completely removed s2U2 and restarting again. I'm also using S2U2C, which is available from XDA's site as well Edited February 25, 2009 by Bad-Co

Guest mtglo Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 Thanks for the fast replies - tried reinstalling several times - got the new 1.50d...still no luck. Tried S2U2C as well. Also made sure that full screen battery>charging is set. I don't get it!! I've been google'n for days...can't seem to find a solution for this. I noticed the two responses both have the 900 Omnia...I have 910...any reason that would make a difference? thanks again for any help!
