software for phone "profiles"?

Running a small business, I wanted a phone that was not only useful to me for business aspects, but also a good phone for personal use - so far the Omnia has not dissapointed.

However, what I would ideally like is to be able to switch my phone from business to personal.

I.e. When I am not at work, I would ideally like the phone not to display any contacts that I have categorised as business, Not to list them in any selection menus when writing text messages or emails etc. Effectively to act as if my business contacts and connections to the email server etc did not exist.

This not only helps me switch off from work, but also prevents me from making the mistake of calling a business contact or sending them a text message when Im out having drinks with friends etc.

So far, I have categorised my contacts as personal or business, and then gone into the phonebook, filtered by category to only display the personal ones, then close the phone book. from then on it will always return to the personal category when I hit the dial button, and I hav to choose to view the business contacts if I wish, but of you close the phonebook with taskmanager and then re-enter, it goes back to showng the whole list, including business contacts again.

Are there any software options out there that would allow me to control and set this kind of thing up?

Thanks for this, it looks like it may help assign different ringing tones/blocking etc for different categories, but I dont think it would assist in the complete separation of business and home contacts that Im looking for.

Im basically looking for something that after 6pm would effectively hide all my business contacts on the phone as if I had never set them up. and at 8am, they magically appear again. With the ability to overide shuld I need to of course.

Hi, I have been using this for a few days now and I think it is great. There are some bugs that need ironing out but it works well. You cant "hide" different contacts but you can set it to filter contacts. So if you only want to see Business contacts you can. It also has Auto Profiles that can be set up for the whole week ie MON-FRI between 8am and 5pm only Business and family calls get through, MON-FRI 5pm till 11pm only Family and Friends get through MON-FRI 11pm till 6am Only VIP calls/group get through. This can be set up for each day or the whole week or any combination. Assigning photo contacts is also easy, just name the photo the same as the contact and put it in a set file >Storage Card\My Documents\Photo Contacts all the rest is done and when you look at the contact the photo will be associated with it.

You can also set separate ring tones and SMS tones for groups and individuals. I am very tempted to buy this but as I said I have had a few issues but considering the Omnia is not on the supported list it does remarkably well.
