In case anyone wany down under like me gets an Omnia and cannot get the MMS settings to work here's an old post from another board....they work well for me. Cheers

Start->Settings->Connections tab->Connections

Under My ISP tap Add a new modem connection and enter the following:

Name for connection: VFNZ Internet (can be anything you want though)

Modem: Cellular line (GPRS, 3G)

Access point: www.vodafone.net.nz

Leave everything else as default

Under My Work Internet tap Add a new modem connection and enter the following:

Name for connection: Vodafone Live (again, can be anything you want though)

Modem: Cellular line (GPRS, 3G)

Access point: live.vodafone.com

Leave everything else as default

Under My Work Internet tap Add a proxy server and tick both boxes, then enter 172.030.038.3 as the proxy server address.

To set up MMS go to Start->Messaging, tap SMS/MMS, tap Menu, tap MMS Options, tap the Servers tab then enter the following settings:

Server name: VFNZ

Gateway: 172.30.38.3

Port number: 8080

Server address: http://pxt.vodafone.net.nz/pxtsend

Connect via: My Work Network

WAP version: WAP 2.0

Of course you can create the proxy under whatever named service you create...i,e, does not have to be under "my work"....

Thanks for that. worked a treat.

My i900 is working well with Vodafone NZ.

Are you running the DXHG4 ROM or did you upgrade?

So far staying put with DXHG4 - battery seems real good (but need to find a way switch off 3G - looking at bandswitch). I'll wait a little bit longer and see if Samsung release a general ROM upgrade, but that not prevailing I can see myslef slipping on the ole H3 for size....

iGo8 and NZ maps works real well...

Did you have standard provider settings in your device? I've learned not to touch these at all - wipes any good work I may have done on MMS and the like....

I'm staying with DXHG4 until a NZ Voda version or Singapore official update comes out. I'm using GarminXT with City Nav NZ 2008 and Bluechart as well. Works great. I just hold down 'end' button to end 3G. Did not touch the settings. Connects to internet via 'starhub' and MMS via 'vodalive'

Did you guys find any way of backing up the VodaNZ settings before flashing (all of them, not just MMS)?
