Guest damjanmi Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Hi, I have just bought i900 and I'm loving it. I do have a problem with my reception (it is jumping) so I decided to try using newer ROM version. I have couple of questions: 1. Can I use ROM XX or XA or must be DX? 2. Which version do you recommend (better reception)? 3. Can I tell the phone that I don't want to use 3G? (a bit off-topic) Best Regards, Damjan P.S. My current ROM is i900DXHG3/DZHG3 Sorry for any mistakes in my English.

My current ROM is i900DXHG3/DZHG3 Sorry for any mistakes in my English. From user feedback it appears that DXHH3 is the best in terms of stability. At least to me it appears less more certain which radio is the best. So I would stick with DXHH3 too. You can choose the radio band in the Phone control panel applet - last tab - band selection.
Guest LittleMonster Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 I have one question. I have just flash my Omnia (Singapore) to DXHH3 and everything goes smoothly. I've realised that Chinese input is not available in my Omnia but my friend Omnia (DXHH3) have the Chinese input. She upgraded her formware at Samsung Service Center. Is it because the ROM downloaded from here removed this function. Thank you Download the ROM from this link http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-omnia-h...re-version-fix/

Guest Ingvarr Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 (edited) Read sticky in this forum for total explanations of what letters in the ROM versions mean. There are no battery problems, but problems with battery level indicator. As far as I can see, these appear in all ROM versions sometimes, at least up to now. Edited September 17, 2008 by Ingvarr

I am also starting to think the same... it looks like the battery level indicator is the issue... hopefully the calibration exercise with the complete drain will solve that...
