Guest EN4CER69 Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 I have received this phone today from Vodafone and it does't appear to have a built in GPS receiver... Where is this supposed to be located plz? Has anyone else oe of these on Vodafone that has this problem? Anyone know how to get this activated? Any help appreciated ;)
Guest dyu Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 I'd like to second the above post. I have a voda touch pro but the GPS function I cant work out. There's no explicit "GPS" option in the touchFLO interface. 1) Do I have to buy TomTom and install it on the phone for the GPS to work?? 2) Will it definitely have GPS (now that voda has tinkered with it)?? 3) I have a voda HTC Vox as well and that had to be software unlocked, is it the same for the touch pro?? Thanks for answers!!

Guest gibson99 Posted October 16, 2008 Report Posted October 16, 2008 I realise this is slightly off-topic, but didn't want to start a new topic on it....essentially, apart from this GPS issue, I wonder if the Vodafone Touch Pro is identical to the HTC Touch Pro, in terms of software I assume is identical). IS there any vodafone-branding on the software, in particular any that slows down the system? Thank you  This might help http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...hlight=vodafone
