Guest msjfb Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 After trying to upgrade to HH1, my phone is dead. "MONAHANS"!? I am in Canada. Can someone help me to bring my phone to any Samsung Service centre? Lot$ of thank$ don't want to lost my photoes. Here is a link to find Service Centers In Canada based on the postal code: http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/repairlo...isp_nm=SGH-i616 I used the i616 as model to do the search, because the Omnia i900 is not sold in Canada. Samsung will probably refuse to deal with your Omnia, or at best ship it to an overseas service center. That is the luck of the draw when we choose to purchase a model not sold locally (I am also from Canada). You could also try dealing with the Company that sold you the phone.
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 One problem with sending the phone off is that some companies just do a like for like swap. Best to check what they do if you want to make sure you do not lose your photos.
Guest forme1981 Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 I already check the samsung website. no sc near me. call them, can't help because phone is not sell in canada. the pic is stored in my storage, not the ram or rom. so, it should be still be there
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 Yes it should still be there but if they just give you a replacement phone then you will lose the photos. Hopefully they will/can just reflash the phone for you.
Guest respider Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 (edited) is there a service center in USA that handles the i900? mine is unlocked bought at mobilecityonline.com (New York) Edited September 18, 2008 by respider
