Guest pidsw Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 I hope that custom Roms start arriving for the I900. I have a Kaiser as well, and despite the inferior hardware, the cooked roms, the latest Windows CE OS and custom ports are awesome. I put this on: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=397121 The latest CE (20753 vs 20270 on Omnia) and unofficial graphics drivers make my Kaiser run as fast as my I900 in many cases. Anyway, I suppose that it is just a matter of time.
Guest Koofteh Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 I hope it's just a matter of time... but I don't think the developer community for the i900 will be anywhere near as large as people doing stuff on HTC phones. One thing I get pissed off about, is that any Windows Mobile site I go to has dozens of g-sensor applications and none of them mention it's strictly for the Diamond/Touch Pro. I don't get it, how hard is to make an already available game work with the accelerometer on the i900? Sure it's a different unit, but it's still a darn accelerometer. And half the stuff out there doesn't work properly on 240x400 anyway. Most of the cool TouchFlo-esque shells I tried displayed all messed up. I'd be coding stuff myself, except I only know web design. :\
