Guest gavinfabl Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 I have successfully flashed to DXHI1 thanks to secany ;) I started with the default UK rom, then HH3 etc. However, from HH3 the calculater scientific/additional options in landscape vanished. Can someone attach or send me the calc from the UK rom please  also the Alarm app in HI1 is missing the option to select which days of the week. So far all okay. I have had 6 hours use, now 12.15pm UK time and battery at 80%.

Gavin, do you also have the issue with geotagging now? (see several threads on the subject)

Guest gavinfabl Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 Yes, I have the camera geotagging problem, but it doesnt bother me. Selecting repeat brings back the days. But would someone please please lift the old calculator from the old rom. That extra functionality was excellent.
Guest Massive Attack Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 What scientific/additional options are you talking about? Never saw that in HH3... i remember the salesman showing me the scientific calc when i was about to buy my omnia, that was HG3 i think. never really looked at it until gavin mentioned it.
Guest gavinfabl Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 Thats right. The "G" version all have this present in landscape mode. Come on. someone must still have the original rom installed ;)
Guest GTDave Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 Sorry, just checked my new i900. T-Mob UK Rom, BOHH5, it's just the basic calc.
Guest gavinfabl Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 Sorry, just checked my new i900. T-Mob UK Rom, BOHH5, it's just the basic calc. Thanks GTDave. Did you check it in landscape as in portrait it is basic. You only get to see the added functions in landscape mode
Guest aftershockvibe Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 Thanks GTDave. Did you check it in landscape as in portrait it is basic. You only get to see the added functions in landscape mode I have XXHG5 which has the scientific things on - although I'd never have known unless you'd told me about it! Will provide the ROM if someone tells me how to grab it from the phone or points me in the direction of something that does.
Guest gavinfabl Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 Its very simple. Using the file explorer, goto Windows. In this directory is PowerCalc.exe . Copy this or upload this. I will pm my email.
Guest GTDave Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 Thanks GTDave. Did you check it in landscape as in portrait it is basic. You only get to see the added functions in landscape mode Yep, basic only i'm afraid. How crap is that?!!
Guest gavinfabl Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 Very crap ;) If aftershockvibe copies the version from the windows directory, we will all have a better calc.
Guest aftershockvibe Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Oh, that's no problem then. I thought you were looking for the entire rom. http://www.mediafire.com/file/h2vn3t2zykw/a96e6f12d2e12.zip

Guest WearTheFoxHat Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 oooh cool changed the app @D
Guest PaSSoA Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Cool, never knew it had this function, just like the SilverInbox program I mentioned in the HI1 thread ;)
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 SilverInbox is cool, but unfortunately useless to me at this stage as it doesn't 'bold' unread messages! Be nice if they finished it ;) P
