Omnia Word Auto Complete

Hi everyone,

New to this site and to windows mobile. Just got an Omnia last Friday, which was on o2 until today when my number ported over and my new contract on Voda started.

I am not a fan of predictive text/auto word complete and turned this off on the phone. This was fine up until today, when it would seem it has turned itself back on. I have checked all the options I can find and it says it's off. However, when entering text anywhere, be it for a text message, internet URL or contact lookup, the phone is automatically suggesting words.

I let a couple of friends have a play around with it the other day and am wondering if they have managed to turn something on that i don't know about.

Any ideas please?
