Just isnt working. If any one has tmobile and has tzones working, please help me out~~ Thanks~ if its tmobile US, below is what i posted on another forum, hopefully it'll help u... spent an hour with T-mobile customer service yesterday, finally got MMS working. tested it b4 i hung up on them internet setting was easy ( read jeff's post above,> thx jeff ). but the MMS was quite a chore. thought i'd share with u guys here......( T-Mobile USA only ) in order to get MMS working, first u have to create ANOTHER new modem called "T-Zone" per T-mobile. main menu > settings > connections > then connections again (above GPRS) > tap "add new modem connection" under "My Internet". put a name whatever u want(i prefer t-zone) > select cellular line(GPRS) from the scroll down menu > next > APN: wap.voicestream.com > leave user name, password, etc. blank > finish. alright, now u have 2 modem connection settings on My Internet. ( do NOT touch anything else ) back to main menu, tap message > menu > MMS option > go to profile > u can either create a new profile or edit profile, but i prefer to rename the singtel's name. > on the edit profile page enter these settings: MMS Profile: T-Mobile MMS (or whatever u want) MMSC: http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms Data Connections: t-zone(not t-mobile) Gateway: WAP 2.0 IP Address: 216.155.165.50 (right, its 50 not 050) Port: 8080 then tap done... if its still not working try this: back to the main menu, open up the back cover (while the phone is on w/o any programs running)and take out the battery. wait for 30 sec. then put battery back in. turn the phone on and u all set.... after these settings, u'll be able to use MMS. try to send urself one pic. enjoy guys!!! Guest aftershockvibe Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 On the Sumsung site (the UK version anyway) they have a support page which will send you a text message with MMS/GPRS settings for the UK networks. Might be worth looking to see if there's a US version. UK version is here: http://uk.samsungmobile.com/supports/confi...e/wapSetting.do (Obvious change of modifying "uk" to "us" or "www" just gives 404s though.
Guest mastabo Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 THanks for the input. It is for tmobile US. Sorry I forget to add that info. But the above info is for the regular internet plan. I need it for the TZONES 5.99 plan. Anyone?

But the above info is for the regular internet plan. I need it for the TZONES 5.99 plan. Anyone? well, in that case. i think u should call t-mobile, coz i dont know how to set up that. good luck, pal. P.S. u have the hottest phone now and why dont u wanna get 19.99 plan? the windows mobile live search requires the 19.99 plan as well as the google map ;)
Guest Lancez Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 Were is jeffs info? the internet setting part is what jeff posted on the other forum.

Guest Lucavi Posted October 7, 2008 Report Posted October 7, 2008 P.S. u have the hottest phone now and why dont u wanna get 19.99 plan? the windows mobile live search requires the 19.99 plan as well as the google map ;) With the 5.99 internet, Google maps, Opera and pretty much everything except youtube.com work just fine. You tube works via vTap. It just downloads the videos first. If you're phone was locked to t-mobile you'd need the $19.99 plan for anything more than WAP sites. Having an imported unlocked phone rulez. Be sure to setup your proxy server correctly. The proxy tab just disappears sometimes. It took me 3 days of messing with it to get t-Zones setup correctly. Everytime i update the firmware I have so much trouble getting it up and running again.

Guest wrxsti22brockz Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 (edited) I have the same problem with T-Mobile USA. The Opera bowser do work. But then the internet explorer and MSN do not work even the internet is connected. Anyone got the msn working? Or is there any addition software out there I can try? P.S. The plan I have is the T-Mobile Smartphone Unlimited Web + 400 Messages. Will the setting be any different? Edited January 9, 2009 by wrxsti22brockz
Guest markony Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 if its tmobile US, below is what i posted on another forum, hopefully it'll help u... Hi Lancez, first of all, Thank you very much for your info on MMS setup! It worked perfectly. You mentioned Jeff's post earlier about internet setup which I could not find, can you please guide me or if possible place a link to it?! Second, I've just got the omnia2 i8000 , (was Nokia fan for years before that :P ). It sucks, because in UK it's been sold with 6.5 uploaded I got mine with 6.1 and would love to upgrade. Since I am kind of new in winmo industry , I am not familiar how to do that stuff and where to find it. Straight forward , would need a mentor ;) . Long story short, can you help me upgrade this piece of machinery and make it look even better :D . I am paying T-mobile for full internet, but I cant use it without proper setup... So thank you in Advance, and good luck! Ivan spent an hour with T-mobile customer service yesterday, finally got MMS working. tested it b4 i hung up on them internet setting was easy ( read jeff's post above,<<<> thx jeff ). but the MMS was quite a chore. thought i'd share with u guys here......( T-Mobile USA only ) in order to get MMS working, first u have to create ANOTHER new modem called "T-Zone" per T-mobile. main menu > settings > connections > then connections again (above GPRS) > tap "add new modem connection" under "My Internet". put a name whatever u want(i prefer t-zone) > select cellular line(GPRS) from the scroll down menu > next > APN: wap.voicestream.com > leave user name, password, etc. blank > finish. alright, now u have 2 modem connection settings on My Internet.
