I have UK Orange Omnia and successfully updated firmware to XXHI1. In every post about firmware on this forum you will find a list of things you need to do before upgrade: - use windows XP - install samsung cable driver - (don't know if this is relevant) install MS ActiveSync - run the ROM exe file - turn off your phone - plug it into USB - switch it on - click "start" in the window on your PC - wait for "Job done" - pray for it to boot up properly (mine did) Hope this helps.

Guest scoobyimprezza Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Cheers m8, up and running with the XXHI1 rom now. Do you know what version you were using before you got the update to work? Was yours Orange branded? I cannot find the XXHI1 - the closest I found was DXHI1 - but don't want to brick the phone. Is yours now un-branded?
