Guest Quist09 Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 I've read multiple threads about optimal settings for the camera and found one post regarding my first annoyance/question, but am wondering if anyone else has more input. Every time the camera is closed and reopened, and even when changing between modes within the camera, the settings in terms of sharpness, etc. are set back to default and you have to change them to your ideal settings again before clicking away. Really great for capturing those rare Kodak moments - NOT. Anyone have a way, like a script or reghack, that would let you set your own default settings that are maintained? Secondly, the N95 originally only used its accellerometer to detect when the camera was rotated to set the orientation of the pictures taken. GPS tagging is neat and all (even if it worked), but this basic function would really be a godsend. Am I missing something? Is it already there? If not, anybody have any idea how to make it possible?
Guest Reuben (MY) Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 HKCU\Software\Samsung\Camera should be where WM keep all settings, but which represent the corresponding item? i dont know. dont think it can be flipped. i tried changing the regkey from other place where name is something like "IsPortrait" or "IsLandscape", changing between hex value 0 and 1 makes no different. camera always start in landscape
