Phone for folks with no friends?

Anybody figured out why I can't send sms to more than 8-10 people at once? Every mobile I've ever owned has been fine at this until the Omnia. Don't get me wrong, it's a great smartphone/pda but why has Samsung aimed it squarely at the geek-with-no-friends market? I regularly sent sms to 50+ recipients on every other phone I owned, so why restrict this one? This is my first Windows phone, so this may have been going on for years on pda-phones & in that case it's not 100% Samsung's fault.

Bottom line, this is a phone first & it should do the basic phone stuff right surely?? Anyone out there with friends find a way round this issue?
