Guest chubba Posted September 27, 2008 Report Posted September 27, 2008 Hi All, Thanks for a wicked site, hoping someone here with an omnia can help me out. Bought the phone yesterday and been having a mare setting up wifi all day. No networks shown even though I have turned all security off. Laptops in the house connect fine so am sure the router is OK. Thanks to another post on here saw phone information can be found here: Start > Settings > System > Version On this page it shows PDA and Phone versions (i900XXHG5) but under the WiFi section it is all blank: Wifi (IEEE 802.11 b/g) S/W : H/W : MAC : Can other users who have WiFi working let me know if their phone is also showing blank or if this section should be populated. If should be populated will take back to the store tomorrow. Cheers Chubba

Guest chubba Posted September 27, 2008 Report Posted September 27, 2008 Thanks jclsm, back to the shop with it tomorrow then.
Guest Reuben (MY) Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 it should show all info including MAC address because MAC is the unique hardware identifier for your wireless card in device. better to go back to the shop rather than trying yourself with new rom since you just got it few days.
