Guest pappa Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Very new to all this. Can anyone let me know if there is software that can perform the following: (I have found Symbian software that will almost do this but uploads through the 3G network but does not make it very expensive.) OS Windows Mobile 5.0 for PDA with camera/phone. (i.e. HP ipaq) To do the following: For an unspecified period the software needs to take time lapse photo's and upload it to a website (like a flicr account) via a mobile broadband internet dongle (preferred) or 3G mobile network to view. When the clip has successfully been uploaded the program then delete it from the device's memory card keeping the size of the required storage device small. Nice to have's Remotely start or stop the camera or the device. Choice of time lapse period and frequency settings (preferred remotely) Choice of photo or video clip (also remotely) Cheers, P
Guest Bouvrie Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 I would somewhat like to revive this topic, with the Windows Mobile devices up and around (specifically my Samsung i900 Omnia ofcourse), I was looking for something similar, effectively transforming my PPC mobile into an Internet-enabled WebCamera. The only thing I found that came close to what I would want is Pocket Camera, but apparently it has a limited featureset. So, would anyone know of a Windows Mobile app that's able to feed the data from the camera to the Internet? Or even something like establishing a Webcam session in MSN Messenger on that same phone?
