Guest testerr Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 I switch off Samsung Wiget, because it is totally ugly and unpractical. Now I use Samsung Today 2 plugin. But anyone have discover how to customize icons and other settings? An example: after clicking clock in Samsing Today 2 then it launch "Time in the World" window, but I want that clicking on the clock brings "Alarms" window. Or I want to add some custom icons to "Settings" panel. Possible? There are any kind of configuration for this Today plugin?

I like Samsung Today 2, I am even fine with the icons shown, but I would like to make it a bit smaller to save space on the today screen... anyone any ideas how to change that?
Guest eduuuuu Posted September 30, 2008 Report Posted September 30, 2008 me too. I wish I could put calendar(appointments) in the clock area
Guest Geronymous Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 The only thing I have found is that Samsung Today 2 is controlled (or contained?) by secst.dll, but I have no clue about how even to open such a file :( ;)
Guest Lucavi Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 (edited) me too. I wish I could put calendar(appointments) in the clock area Ditto, also the phone book icon in today 2 takes you to that weird speed dial thing. The today 1 one will take you to the regular phonebook, but doesn't include any calendar stuff- which I now can't live without. (Oh hey, my Credit card bill is due tommrrow) Edited October 3, 2008 by Lucavi

(Oh hey, my Credit card bill is due tommrrow) That weird speed dial thing is great! If you want to call someone else, you go through the "house" first, and there is the other Phonebook with all your contacts... I think this is a good system! I have installed (free) Calendar+ and use it below Samsung Today 2... it has room for 4 appointments if you use no word wrapping... more would be better, but then Samsung Today 2 has to shrink a bit!
Guest nolimit966 Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 use the stylus and tap and hold the icon until options comes up!!
Guest Geronymous Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 use the stylus and tap and hold the icon until options comes up!! What icon and what options are you referring to? Anything I am missing? If you mean the options that appear when tapping and holding the time part, I discovered that the other day when I saw a screenshot with 2 times, but the options there just allow to show 2 times or an ugly font for the time...
Guest nolimit966 Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 it might be samsung 1 then it allows u to change all the icons to different short cuts
Guest XtremeMaC Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 on today 2, in phonebook, i want to change the contact that i've chosen for speed dial. anyone know how to delete the speed dial person/change it??? i've looked through the registry. i couldn't find much. i'm sure its hidden somewhere.
Guest PaSSoA Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 You click on the phonebook icon again until a (-) minus sign appears and you can delete a contact.
