How can I change a program or shortcut icon?

I now have a mortscript that does what I want (thanks to Juicey) but I want to put that in SPB Mobile Shell with a different icon. I have tried making a shortcut but it seems to automatically take the icon of whatever it links to, even if you make a shortcut from the program whose icon you want, then manually edit it.

I want the desktop-style option to chose any ico or exe to pull the icon from.
