Guest Infamy89 Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 When i check under hardreset, it says its not installed =/ I unbranded it from a i900v to i900 using the DXHI1.. shall i just repeat the process once over to get it back to original DXHI1 settings?

Guest Infamy89 Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Ok seems like mine came back initially, mine went when i uninstalled IGO 8. Any way, I tried a few things and now its back. Ive turned the phone off a few times and turned it back on and it still here. Ive soft reset as well and its here. I initially formatted the HDD. When it said unattached, I connected it to the USB cable and PC and the drive came up. If it doesnt come up, try going into Settings > Connections > USB COnnection Mode and choose Mass Storage if its not being picked up by your PC when its on ActiveSync. Then once I did that, I turned the phone off again, took the cable out and turned it on. Once it was on, then I reattached the USB cable, when to my comp and it appeared as DRIVE J (will be diff to yours). When i tried to open, it said i had to format. So i did. For the format settings, I basically did it all but choose the default devices options (cant remember what it said to be exact) and the Space allocation to device default. Dont quick format since it didnt work for me. So this time round, I let it format. It took about an hour or so. Once finished, I hard reset the phone, turned it back on, inserted the USB and it found my comp found it, installed it. So check in Settings > hard reset and it was there and it was also in Settings > Memory and said something like 7.6GB left. I turned it off once more, turned it on again, connected the USB, and it found it again. So i made 2 folders, and dragged random files in there (sounds weird, i thought if there is something in there, it might not go :S) so far, ive turned it off a few times and on again, its been there. Ive also hard re-set again and its been there.

Guest PhilipE Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 If you got it connected to your pc via. mass storage set at "My storage", then you won't be able to see it on your mobile.
