Vodafone firmware update now available ... (apparently)

There is a post on the Vodafone forums that states that a Vodafone firmware update is now available for the Omnia.

It has been confirmed by the mods on the Voda forums.

Its not available for download just yet but they say you can take your device into any Vodafone store for the upgrade.

Not sure i would trust the usual in store muppets with my device so i think ill wait for the download! ;)

I don't think they'd do it in store anyway, so it would have to be sent off. inconvenience. definitely better to wait for the download ;)

I'm one of the members over on the Voda forum.

When they announced this i originally asked that they provided us with a link at some point to do this at home instead of giving my phone into the useless staff in the shop to mess around with.

As far as i'm aware this is only an update to fix the auto answer issue that the voda branded omnia's have.
