Guest 8Y138 Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Hello, guys! I met a problem with my I900, when I set the theme at Samsung theme_2, the device would not exit the Flight mode( click the Flight mode KEY or Phone KEY) after I restart it if it is at Flight mode before restarting. Is it a Bug?? Can anyone help me? or u also met same problem?? Thank u in advance!!!!
Guest echaya Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 This is also what I met. However, here is the solution: use a third party software or just use WLmgr in windows folder to return to flight mode. Or just pretend to make a phone call. One dialogue will pop up and ask you to turn on your phone, do it! cheers

Guest Geronymous Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 I don't have this problem... I also have Samsung Today 2, and I put the phone in Flight Mode when I go to sleep... in the morning I remove Flight Mode by pressing on the same button, and my phone starts up... I am on PDA DXHI1, Phone XXHI2.
Guest rob_jes Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 I can confirm that i also have this problem on DXHI2. I think i had replied in another thread that my phone doesn't have this problem. That time i had manually turned the phone, bluetooth and wireless off and didn't use the flight mode key on Samsung Today 2.

After reset while in flight mode, the phone cannot recover from flight mode.
Guest Massive Attack Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 just a summary of this thread, so for those who doesnt understand the problem 1. turn-on flight mode. 2. soft-reset 3. turn-off flight mode (FAIL!) solution: make a phone call or wireless manager AND soft-reset (to fix that operator from "Home Service")

Click here to get the ROM : http://www.samsungmobile.com/promotion/omnia/index.jsp Good Luck!!

Ok, understand the issue now... but not sure why you would reset your phone while in flight mode (unless your battery drains or so)... ;)

I think, a bug is a bug which needs to be fixed ;)
