Working SRS WOW XT for omnia ?

Can anyone here confirm or provide a working SRS WOW HD for Omnia ? ;)

The 100% working is here http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...-on-omnia-i900/ it does not require to edit anything at all just install and reset and it is just working straight away.

NO works! is only for HTC device.

Basically you need to edit the SRSWOWHD registry settings (wavedev.dll I think from memory) and change it for the corresponding .dll in Omnia, working in Samsung sgh-i780, O2 Atom. This app is OEM in HP RW6828, O2 Atom Life and does not come installed in any HTC device.

Download and install the attached cab.

Soft reset

Browse to your Registry with TotalCommander or Resco Explorer or any registry editor.

Go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\Wave Dev] . Overwrite the "DLL" with this value "R2VS_ARM_WM6_PRO_Driver.dll"

Edit: Go to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\BtA2dpSnd] .Overwrite the "DLL" with this value "bta2dp.dll"

Soft reset and enjoy.

The app can start from Settings-->System--> WOW Effects

If you screw up B) im attaching also the original registry (WaveDev) file so you just transfer it to your phone and click on it to accept the changes.

Enjoy

EDIT: I have uploaded a newer release pls follow the same procedure

EDIT2: Newer version doesnt work wait till i find a solution B) , use the old cab. Removed the new version so you dont get confused.

SRS WOW HD does not work on WM 6.1.

It works fine with only WM 6.0.

Then u havent followed the steps...

To have back your audio just replace in registry as i mentioned above.

I absolutely recommend that you do not use this information, you can,t recover your terminal even with a hard reset, just reinstalling the system will save.

Sector just so I understand 1 we are to install the cab then 2 install the Wave Dev in the windows folder THEN 3change the registry settings and reset? In that order? B) . You know I am a flashing fool but I want to make sure I get this right

Edit: And do we to the first second or both registry changes?

Edit: Now I understand the Wave Dev is the original file and we do the second reg change B)

No no. The WaveDev.reg it is just to have the original settings of your registry.

First install cab. Reboot. Do not open the program.

Go to registry and change the values. Reboot. Do not open the program.

Open the program. B)

Im really sorry if with some guys didnt work...

Of course you can restore back your sound without hard resetting or anything. You can even uninstall the program and of course revert to the previous original state of your system.

at first installation, I got no volume and I thought I screwed up my device ..... I follow this instructions again and it is working now with my samsung omnia!!

if something bad happens to your device guys just relax, don't panic and try to redo the instructions ... it does help me a lot coz from time to time I encountered problems when installing complicated softwares just like this one.

Yup i followed the instruction

1. Install cab (tried both device/mystorage)

2. Reboot

3. Edit registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\Wave Dev

4. Edit Regisry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\BtA2dpSnd

5. Reboot

6. Settings-->System--> WOW Effects

But still There is no wow hd driver loaded. The control panel will now exit

I skipped 3 & 4, the is no warning prompt like the above but no sound and microsoft voice command conflict (cannot enabled)

i tried to install 1.28.5.0 from xda dev, even worse, touchscreen doesnt work. I was so panic. After few soft reset quickly got to settings for hard reset before touchscreen crash.

Im running OMNIA HJ09 LTE02

Yea ... same for me, got the "no wow hd driver loaded ..." error upon opening the app. I have audio though.
