Guest MrCRB Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 Any Idea If I could I would help you. But I've never had your described problem :-( Is your "phone version" also DXHI2? Have you had this problem with a previous ROM version (I assume you have flashed your Omnia to DXHI2)? Have you installed any third party software (maybe some kind of sound / music software)? What if your Omnia is "fresh" (after hard reset) without any extra software, is there the same phone call behaviour? No more ideas at the moment...
Guest Arramond Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 I have noticed this too. when the other person speaks it's as if the phone is quickly fading them in. My best guess is it could be a noise filter of some kind.
Guest ZiTe747 Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 I have the exact problem walkie-talkie thing... strange ;)
Guest yts17 Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 After searching fot tons of nothing I realized that it's a little like a 3g network problem in some places the 3g network isn't that strong which makes the omnia make that walkie talkie issue So here is the solution : If you switch to GSM which means there is no more 3G only G ! you will get way better network signals and the problem is gone ! try it and let me know .

Umm a stupid question now... how can i deactivate the 3G? ;)
Guest bobobird Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 Umm a stupid question now... how can i deactivate the 3G? ;) i think it is settings/phone/more - and change band selection. i have set it to gsm 900/1800 and the 3g display at the top of the screen turned to just G
