How do you look up a no when using calling card

On the Nokia phones once you have dialed the 0800 no (say with someone like Telco) and receive the voice prompt to enter the phone no you require you can access your phone book to look up/dial the no required.

But on the SPV after dialing the 0800 no I can't seem to get to the contacts program to find the person I want to call. So I have to write the no down prior to ringing the 0800 no.

Is there any way round this?

Yep, just press the home key during the call and you will be able to access your phone book and contacts list.

yep you can access the phone book but you cannot send DTMF tones automatically to make the call unlike the nokia

You could allways use a free contact field like car phone or something to hold the call card number... then a pause ........ then the number of the contact

Infact you could write a macro to say create new entries for all the workphone numbers and also mobile numbers with the call card number .......... you can then choose which numbers to call depending on the time of day

Thanks for the responses, I have (manually) setup a pause then the second no. for my common numbers but even this doesn't always work that well.

But maybe I need to persevere with this, can you write macros to run directly on the phone or is this a case of doing it on your PC and syncing contacts.

As I use this regulary, I must say this is one feature that is pretty good on the Nokia and a real pain on the SPV  .

Thanks
