ok how does reg editor initiate

I must be doing it wrong i keep getting wrong installer prompts when i initiate the phmregedit app on the desktop. the cab opened up on t phone but couldnt edit it through that. desktop w98: laptop w2kpro: spv unlocked via orange site I am that dancing fool that requires an idiots guide to open the door

There are 2 files available to download.

PHMRegEdit (MSI Desktop installer)

Regedit.Stngr_ARM (CAB Smartphone - ARM)

You want the file Regedit.Stngr_ARM.

Copy the unzipped file to Smartphone - windows/accessories

Open file from smartphone explorer and it should self install.

yep cheers done all that then how do I get into the xml, to change stuff then what do I do once I've changed it & want to test. sorry to be thick but as I'm new to all this smartphone stuff,last thing I programmed was a ZX speccy twenty years ago.......

Wonko: If you're wanting to make new XML homescreens you'll need to use the IPSMApplication DataHome directory to store them in, although the standard Homescreen .xml files can be found in windows. You'll find much more info about this in the Customization forum.
