SMS transfer to Outlook program

Hi all,

Thought I'd come out of lurking for a while to mention a program I've made. I think I'm right in saying (having owned SPV and read Modaco for about 3 months) that there's no way to transfer SMS to the PC.

This was really annoying me since my old SL45 could even do it, so in the absence of a simpler way I have written a program that essentially reformats all the SMS in the inbox to emails which can then be synched normally to Outlook and deleted, etc.

The program works but is pretty rough at the moment (no UI, ugly code etc). So really I'm saying that unless anyone can tell me I've wasted my time and there is an easier way :oops: then I will post the program in a day or two if anybody wants it.

Although after I posted I realised the date and read the post on Quake and wondered if people might think so :lol:

Well since this topic has been made red already there must be some interest, so I'll have a bit of a marathon coding session tonight, and try and make it reasonably presentable and fit for posting by tomorrow evening.

Brilliant! I'd be chuffed if even it's only a raw beta, as long as it does the task, as I've loads of SMSs I want to transfer before doing a hard reset on my snail-like SPV!
