Guest Sean (TX) Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 If the i617 is connected to a laptop (usb port) will google maps on the laptop be able to use the i617 gps to show your location? I have the google pro version on my laptop.
Guest Sed8ed Posted October 5, 2008 Report Posted October 5, 2008 Unfortunately not, there's no outgoing port for the GPS, this has been no go since WM6....there are other threads on this. A few have attempted to use the GPS in the BJII as an external unit but it's not supported and no one has an app that provides this function or that is compatible with providing an outgoing port for GPS.

Somebody needs to get to work on that app...
