Hi

I've had me Omnia for about 8 weeks. I've noticed that the internal 8GB memory is dismounted and I'm unable to mount or access it. I've tried soft and hard resets and reflashing the rom (currently on I3), but no joy.

Can anyone help

1. goto system and usb connections

2. select usb connection as usb storage (not active sync)

3.make a connection between i900 and computer

4.format the newly found usb storage(fast format fat32 name as "my storage")

5.Soft reset your phone

Thats all.

When I try to select the USB Connection as Mass Storage, I get an error message saying "Mass Storage is unavailable, check if the storage cardis inserted"

First take out any storage card from device. Then hard reset your omnia.then go directly to system usb settings.Check mass storage dont choose anything below.Close usb settings and system settings.Make an usb connection between pc and omnia.Pc must have detected a new storage volume and ask you to format it.(it takes a while). Then quick format the drive as i said before.Hope this will work.I made it just like this.

As I can not select the mass memory mode, it doesn't show up when connected to the PC via USB

You can try WM5torage, it will allow to select it (choose DSK3: MMC Card)

Ingvarr, thanks for that - it got me part way there. I can now select the My Storage in the USB connection. The problem I have now is that WM5torage will not let me unset the Read Only status so I can not format it. If I untick Read Only when I activate DSK3 it automatically resets to Read Only.

Same Problem here.

Anyone got the solution?

It seems that the internal memory has been corrupted. How can that be?

I can't format the internal memory because it can't be accessed using nue storage manager or wm5storage.

Is there any other way around this?

Please let me know, [email protected]

Thank you.

No one's mentioned it... Have you guys tried resetting the internal storage through the Hard Reset cpl?

Go to Settings->System->Hard Reset. You should see a button there to reset My Storage.
