Omnia Discontinued??

Heard that Vodafone are telling people that they are discontinuing the Omnia due to the number of problems they are getting.

I only got mine today so hope this isn't a soign of the next couple of weeks.

Loaded SPB Shell etc and have the new themes but every now and then it show the original theme for no reason and the soft keys keep reverting to Live!.

Literally had it for 4 hours.......Someone please reassure me......;)

It really is quite amazing what Voda have done. I thought when I got the Omnia from Voda that the UI was how it was and that is what Ithought the Omnia was ..

But when I flashed to HI3 it only become apparent how much Voda had messed with the UI.

Samsung should be very worried when someone takes their phones apart like this.

The today one screen only contained three icons and the time.

The programs select only went to the windows programs feature and comletely left out the scrollling Samsung programs feature.

There was no World clock feature.

There is more but I forget them now, if someone is on Voda perhaps you can remind us.

The Samsung interface was completely ripped apart.

How can Samsung let Vodafone undo thier phone like this?

Maybe this is why The Voda Phones are being discontinued?????

Voda and Orange and T-Mobile really do brand their phones to the nth degree. With regards to the phone being discontinued because of 'problems' - don't believe it. Check out the threads (there are about two-three) about what Orange are saying to their customers. They are being like this because they want to squeeze out more money from us....

Oh and to the guy whose Spb Shell reverts back to the Today screen do a search for Spb watcher within this very forum - will tell you all you need to know and will fix your issue... ;)
