Open google maps, select menu, Use GPS, step outside and try and dodge the huge arrow that looks like its going to hit you on the head. I got google launcher, windows messenger and google maps. They all come pre-installed on i900DXHI3 ROM. Didn't know a YouTube app that works was available for the Omnia.

Kind Regards Nick In France, the Samsung representative had three different versions of it (which they call "player addict" and not "omnia" in France, go figure!), one version per operator. So your operator has likely removed those software to protect some of its business ...

Depends mate, what do you need to sync? Active sync (being a Microsoft app) will sync all your contacts/calendars etc with Outlook. If you have OneNote you can also sync these note files. You can also use it to perform a "file sync" and this can be used to ensure a directory and its sub's can be sync'd with your phone. There is also an "explore" option to allow you to open Windows Explorer and copy files manualy. Of course, you also get the option of opening up "My Computer" and seeing the phone listed there, allowing you to drag and drop files in either direction as if it was another drive on your computer. What app(s) are you trying to sync with? edit: you can use the drag n drop/windows explorer methods to also copy across music and photo's in either direction. Edited October 8, 2008 by stuzathegreat

Guest FutureDirt Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 Didn't know a YouTube app that works was available for the Omnia. Core player 1.2.5 You might also want TCPMP ... there is a version available on the XDA dev site that works properly with wm6.1. The reason you may want it is core player doesnt support the AC3 audio codec.
