Dead key solution for Advent/MSI Wind

If you have a UK(?) keyboard with the backslash and vertical bar key between the left shift and z, the kext in the above will make it active in OS X. So we have a fully recognised keyboard - yay!

I just installed the kext using kext helper (after taking a safe backup of my kexts, just in case) and it all works! Only thing to do now is remap the key on the top left corner of the keyboard back to the real keys, as Paul's (excellent) keyboard layout had remapped the backslash up there.

Another step forward to sorting out those little niggles, hopefully sound and out-of-the box wifi will shortly follow, eh?
