I found this old post and was wondering the same thing. What the installation location for Java applications is and if it is possible to change this location.

I have been trying to make sure that I minimise the amount of applications on to the phones main memory. It would be great if I could install more Java apps, but make sure they are installed on Storage Card like the WM apps.

I'm hoping there is a registry change that could be made....

There is a cab that allows for saving to a storage card but it doesnt work for that long. After a while you are unable to acess the information from before. ;)

Yea I wanted to know this too. I did some google searching then, and it let me to this thread:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=407667

That thread mentions a JBed version that installs all apps to the storage card. I think I tried it on my omnia and it kept crashing. I just gave up on it. With lots of the custom ROMs you have more device memory anyway so it's not the end of the world.
