Guest Ehood Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 Hello, I would like to replace the \Windows\Samsung_i900.Phonepad.English.Portrait.xm l with my own file - I suspect that the dialer face is painted according this file and I would like to paint other characters on each button. Since this is a ReadOnly and Hidden file - how can I replace it ? Is there another directory I can put my file to have precedence over this file ? Thank you.

When I renamed the original file - all went well. When I overwrote it with my own, it failed. Maybe my question should be: How do I change the letters on the dialpad of the phone without installing a new dialer ? Thank you.

Thanks. Now I understand that the PHONEPAD is a name of a SIP and not the keypad I get when selecting the "Phone" softkey. I will post a new one.
