Guest Reuben (MY) Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 (edited) *#0002*28346# -> Talking - Headset / Earjack / BTMono RCV is the voice you receive, TX is the voice you send to increase the opponent's voice, increase RCV to increase your voice so that opponent can hear you clearer, increase TX -ve = softer, +ve = louder. suggest you to increase about 1.5 - 3 only, else it will have noise distortion Edited October 12, 2008 by Reuben (MY)

I'm a brand new Windows Mobile user with my Verizon Samsung Omnia. Please forgive my ignorance, but could you explain what this means? *#0002*28346# -> Talking - Headset / Earjack / BTMono Where and when do I do this sequence of commands? Does it open up settings for audio somehow? Thanks for your help! I was also having unsatisfactory audio reaching the person I speak to on my phone. After testing my own audio over voicemail, it seems that there is an issue with balancing the volume settings incoming (speaker) with the volume settings going out (microphone). Basically, the handset has speakerphone-like issues even when you don't use speaker. These issues should be able to be reduced by finding the right balance of mic gain and speaker gain. I come to this theory also because turning down the phone volume (which seems to only control incoming) does help. I work in audio and telephony.

But sadly like you I have the verizon I910 and this code was disabled by verizon.
Guest palex Posted November 20, 2009 Report Posted November 20, 2009 Hi, I just bought an Omnia 2 and installed MS Voice command 1.5. It seems to work but I have 2 problems when I receive a call : 1. it's very noisy in my bluetooth earset (although it worked perfectly before MSVC installation). Before changing the parameters through the *#0002*28346# access, I would just like to disable the automatic gain control. Do you know where I could do that on my omnia2 ? 2. I clicked on the option "ring on earset by default (if connected)". But the calls keep on ringing my phone (and earjack). 3. I don't have an icon "sound" ou "microphone" in my menu. How can I arrange that ? Thanks for your help (and sorry if I made mistakes, I'm french and blond ! :) )
