FLASHING UPDATE (VISTA) and a new official ROM due

Hey Guys

just got off the phone with a tech guy at samsung who seemed very interested in our Device.exe process issue and thinks he has heard about this service before (making the phone appear dead when screen is powered off) - see this thread for more details

Anyway, whilst having a chat with him, he said a new UK/English firmware will be on the Samsung website within 2 weeks and this will also include VISTA drivers. This will also include a home install system so that the phone does not need to go to a service center for official updates and can still be covered by warranty.

That said, he did not know if this Device.exe bug will be fixed in this firmware but did say that they were aware of the "black screen of death" issue. Fingers crossed!
