google for a flash memory or thumb drive recovery software. Then change your usb mode from activesync to usb storage mode. From windows the my storage will be shown as a removal drive select it using the recovery software and away you go.

I accidently formatted my storage as well, but was able to get 90+% of my photos and videos back uncorrupted.

You could try Recuva which should work on My Storage if connected as loonsy says.

This will not work however (nor will anything else :lol: ), if the files were in the main Storage memory on the device itself.
