play chinese songs on windows media player

does anyone know why isn't wmp playing songs with chinese characters on them? on the library lists, these files appear to be ???? rather than the chinese characters that i see on file explorer. i recently installed chinese recognition software on omnia, so in the explorer part, all chinese characters appear to be fine. thanks for your help in advanced.
