Guest daz306td Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 (edited) Does anyone know how you would go about having the ability to launch an application and switch to landscape from a shortcut in the programs folder? Having a look through various forums it would seem you have to program a .mscr file .... not sure what executable launches the i900 to flip into landscape though  Basically I want to launch tomtom and have it rotate into landscape and maybe even GPSGate too. I've turned off the auto landscape as I have Manilla2D installed (ITS AN AWESOME KILLER APP ! But its has not landscape support yet plus its bugging me flipping into landscape to portrait when I'm trying to unlock the device etc.) Any suggestions are welcome. I have found something along the lines of what I need, the attached zip contains a mscr file which launches iGuidance + GPSGate + AstroGPSLauncher for the HTC Titan - why launch two GPS splitter I don't know it also does stuff with timeouts for power and backlight which I don't think is needed.iGuidance_Internal_GPS_Launcher.zip Edited October 10, 2008 by daz306td
Guest daz306td Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 Ok just run through the scripts, replacing like for like. Just need to know what executable launches the Accelerometer - then I will be able to test thisTomTomGPSLauncher.zip
Guest Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 (edited) Wouldn't it be easier to set screen rotation to Automatic - I use TomTom on mine and it rotates the app with the accelerometer. With a bit of editing of the HTCHomeSettings.xml file I moved the slider bar in Manila 2D so it is visible in landscape - some of the widgets don't display (contacts and messages if I remember correctly) but it is still usable  Edited October 10, 2008 by Guest
