Guest testerr Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 Anyone have been tried to brake off this two little tooths to make SDHC card hot-swapable?
Guest phillipxenxciel Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 it may work, but i dont think anyone will break their phone for that~~~after u break those two things, u may end up having a slot that can't hold the MicroSD anymore.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 Are you really THAT bothered about it being hot swappable? P
Guest jclsm Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 In my opinion is not hot swappable. You need allways a soft reset. Thats why you need to pull off the battery. I already had this 'issue' with my old Ipaq RW6815 and a cooked rom WINMO 6.1 professional.
Guest testerr Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 In my opinion is not hot swappable. You need allways a soft reset. I dig into this and found that, unfortunately, you have right. Our Omnias microSDHC slot is not hot-swappable. After inserting card into slot when device is on then card is not recognized and nothing happens. Even if you turn on device with inserted card - it will be recognized and listed - and remove it from slot then My Storage Card is not unmounted and all directory's structure remain accessible even after card removal. And trying launch any file from this "ghost" card leads device to hang.
