Look for WiFi first, then connect to GPRS

Hi

Is it possible to set that when Omnia needs connection to look first for possible available WIFI, and then connect to GPRS or EDGE or HDSPA?

At the moment anything i do, it first connects to GPRS.

change the connections/browser connection to "automatically detect settings"

it'll use wifi over gprs if it's available/connected.

I wish to connect ONLY with WIFI to internet. So I changed the connections/browser connection to "automatically detect settings" NOT selected. But when I launch Opera it makes a connection with GPRS. How can I handle this prob. ???

Well change it back to automatic like gavzter said? I don't think he means that you do "wifi over gprs" as in stacking the two.. He means probably that it always tries to connect to Wifi and if not able, connect with GPRS...

OK but I'll never want connect Internet over GPRS. I'd tried the two possibilities but when I open Opera and I'm not connected on Wifi it will make a connection over GPRS.

Use nodata (see forum elsewhere) and GPRS is disabled by default.. You can switch it back on when needed..
