IA Album install

Hi,

I bought IA Album and am trying to install it. I got a zipped file from the download with an installer in it. I ran the installer but then it said

"Application Manager cannot install this application on your mobile device due to an invalid setup file. Reinstall and try again"

I also tried putting it onto the SD card in my SPV and running it through file explorer, but it couldn't understand it.

If anyone has a tip or two I'd be very grateful.

Thanks,

Wyatt

Try redownloading the file, sounds like its corrupted or something. Or check your pc for virus.

I re-downloaded it but the same thing happened. I also tried it on multiple computers but that didn't help either. DOes anyone have any more ideas?

Thanks,

Wyatt

You could try using winrar to extract the cabfile from the setup program. Don't know if it will work but I do know that winrar is able to unpack some setup files.

Hi

Trying using ActiveSync to copy the cab to your SIM card, put it in the same directory as the other apps, like Rebound. Take the card out of the phone and put it back in, it should autorun and let you select the programs you wish to install, you should see on the list the application you want to install.

Hi me again,

Sorry I meant to say SD card not SIM card.

Sure you've got the right ia album? The filename should be something like ia16spalbum.zip, there's a windows CE version which is more like 2.3 or something which won't work with smartphone... I know at elast one person has accidentally bought the wrong one.

Its called iaa4sp16en, unfortunately there is no .cab file, unlike the rest of the programs that I have bought. And I also don't have winrar so I don't think that I can get the .cab out of it.

Well unless you've got a mac try downloading it from winrar.com.

Are you sure you got the url correct? I get a "The requested URL could not be retrieved" message when I try to go to it.

Thanks,

Wyatt

I used winrar and got the .cabs out of the setup folder, but it shows the no certification error, I think I might have bought the wrong one but I am hoping not.
