Guest nelkz Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 I had loads of problems with HJ1..I found it a very flaky rom.. performance was not inhanced. rotation was poor and jerky. scrolling around the phone was poor and jerky. Has anyone else found this with this rom....? Nelkz
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Did you hard reset after flash? P
Guest broughs Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 (edited) In another thread I have also stated that scrolling within mail especially is hap-hazzard. In general on my two omnias I get scrolling problems in exchange. All other areas seem to be fine though I have hard reset my omnia and re-flashed. I may go back too Stu Edited October 17, 2008 by broughs
Guest nelkz Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Did you hard reset after flash? P Yeh i did a hard reset Paul..I still found it hit and miss performance wise.. DXHI3 is a good stable rom ...
Guest teixeira.vh Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Did you hard reset after flash? P Is it very important to do a hard-reset after flashing this rom? I tryed but only managed to soft-reset..lol...i put the stylus in reset button, and press the green and red button, right? teixeira.vh
Guest us1111 Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Huh??? I don't see any performance degradation at all.. Also the scrolling within Opera is way better and doesn't stutter for me. The overall feeling is in fact a bit more robust, but that's subjective at this point maybe...
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 I ALWAYS hard reset, remember you can do it from the settings menu too. P
Guest sonic76 Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 (edited) I think HJ1 Rom is okay, no really problem @ all! 4 me ist the same as HI3 but a bit faster and better overall performance. I hardreset bevore and after flashing! I noticed a strange thing: In "Phone" > "menĂ¼" >"Option" > i have 1st Phone, 2nd Service, 3rd Network, 4th Video Call service, 5th Video call, 6th security 7th "more" after 2 Hardreset 4th position changed to "more" , 5th "Video"... A other thing is after change to new firmware setup phone frome scratch means don't use BACKUP from last firmware!!! this are my expiriences, i can also confirm that the phonepart of HJ1 is a little bit more stable in lower Network regards Sonic P.S. have you try to edit "Menu" > "Settings" > "Personal" --> "Buttons" --> UP/DOWN CONTROLL? here you can adjust your scrolling settings Edited October 17, 2008 by sonic76
Guest Arramond Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 I've had no problems with the new firmware at all so far. it seems faster and all the apps work so i'm happy.
