Guest KixAss Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 BluePower is a very small program I wrote, because modern (Windows Mobile driven) smartphones use a lot of battery. One of the biggest users is the internal bluetooth adapter. Since I almost only use my bluetooth for my car-kit, I hate to switch it on and off every time I'm in the car. But since I have an (active) carkit, I could detect when I'm in a car, or in any case, I have plugged in my AC adapter. In short: BluePower is a program that switches your bluetooth on when the phone is connected to the power adapter. When it's disconnected, the bluetooth goes off. Offcourse, you can always switch your bluetooth on/off yourself. More information and download: http://www.kixass.net/bluepower/
Guest Lycox Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 Very nice prog. Tried it yesterday an it works perfect on my Diamond. Feature request: Would be nice, if a field pops up, when connecting to AC to easily say yes or no to enable BT. (Maybe skinnable  ) -Lycox
