Guest kogan31 Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Hi guys, Hopefully it works for most of you guys out there. I recently upgraded my firmware to Dzhh3/dxhh3 and battary drains very fast. I let it drain fully till it auto shuts off first. Charge it overnight maybe like 12 hours. From than on it works great for me. It could last me at least 3 days and i'm quite a heavy user. Hope it works for you guys out there facing this problem. Any other ideas that worked/might work/worth giving a try please post it here for everyone. CHeers~! Kathy
Guest Massive Attack Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 thats called calibrating, basically letting the pda knows what zero battery is, and i think for it to be most effective, you really need to drain your battery including backup battery, so you need to backup first, and draining sometimes takes 2 to 3 days to completely drain the backup battery. which get me asking, why i dont see any backup battery indicator? does our omnia have no nimh battery backup?

Guest lastnikita Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 well just remove your battery for 30s and you'll see it will keep the clock settings right => backup battery
Guest Reuben (MY) Posted October 18, 2008 Report Posted October 18, 2008 it doesn't have backup battery i assume
